MINI Cooper maintenance and repairs

Midlands Motorworks performs all repairs to MINI Cooper vehicles of all generations. Timing chain replacement is a common issue for N12, N14 and N18 engines. MINI Coopers are also known for failing thermostats and high pressure fuel pumps. We replace all those with the same parts as the dealership but for reduced cost! We also reprogram and replace FRM modules, Footwell modules, CAS modules and DME engine computers.

Mini cooper tuning and Engine Modifications

Pictured here is a N14 JCW engine in a 2013 MINI Cooper JCW. This engine suffered failure from a burned valve, the owner wanted to increase power so he opted for a Midlands Motorworks Street engine. The pistons and piston rings were replaced, the block and head were machined and the bearings were replaced. The engine was equipped with a choice selection of aftermarket parts and tuned to handle increased boost from the turbo.

MINI Cooper Engine swaps and replacement

We offer engine swaps and rebuilds on all MINI Cooper products. Pictured here is a 2010 MINI Cooper base model that was damaged from a road plate. The engine was disassembled and the broken components were replaced and the engine was resealed to prevent oil leaks, seals and gaskets were replaced for maintenance.
